Dr. Melanie Girard is a General Dentist at Clinique Dentaire Dr. S. Sgro & Dr. J. Lang in Greenfield Park
Dr. Girard was born and raised in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. She moved to Montreal and completed her B.Sc. at McGill University, then continued moving East to the Maritimes. Dr. Girard obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS and returned to Quebec for a 1-year multidisciplinary residency at the Montreal General Hospital. She now enjoys her days as a General Dentist on the South Shore treating patients of all ages.
Dr. Girard is a member of the ODQ (Ordre des Dentistes du Quebec), ACDQ (Association des Chirurgiens Dentistes du Quebec) and CDA (Canadian Dental Association). Dr. Girard creates a positive environment to ensure her patients feel comfortable while in the dental chair and at ease during appointments. She is proud to be part of an excellent team of healthcare providers at a family-oriented dental practice.
Dr. Girard is fluent in English and French.
